Use of NAVAIR RCM in other industries

IRCMS and NAVAIR RCM materials have been available on the WWW for several years now. As an informal survey, we'd like to hear from companies/industries outside of NAVAIR who are using either IRCMS or the NAVAIR process. If you are currently using NAVAIR RCM or IRCMS and would like to participate, please post your industry or type of asset/country/state/extent of use.

A couple to start:
1. Data center/USA/FL/developed complete maintenance program
2. Manufacturing/USA/FL/analyzed various plant machinery

Plastics Manufacturing/ Australia/Victoria/ limited analysis of a few items/systems.

Use has been limited by resource availability and lack of company concensus on the best approach to determining maintenance strategy.

Alion Science offers a great course in "Reliability Engineering Management". I received the course through a University of Maryland, USA, as ENRE 642. Fred Schenkelberg taught the class, not was he a great instructor, but he was very well-informed. He taught us how to determine where your company is in the basic five (5) step process - from (1) can you spell "R-E-L-I-A-B-I-L-I-T-Y" to (5) a company that fully embraces it in it's philosphy. The course gives some tools, for the production personnel to management, on ways to both sell and incorporate this much beneficial process. I highly recommend it!!
You can contact Fred at fms@garlic.com...tell him I sent you!
